The Book
Club

A book club where the book is yours.

Sixteen weeks. A small circle of writers. And on the other side of it, the book you keep saying you’ll write someday.

Everyone has a book in them.

You’ve said some version of these for years. The book is still waiting. It doesn’t need a better reason. It needs a chair, a schedule, and some company.

The Book Club

Here’s what this is.

one

Sixteen weeks, beginning in February. One season of your life, given to one book.

two

For years I’ve worked with people who want to write. I’ve helped them start the book, finish the book, and publish the book.

three

This is a program designed for you to work through what inspires you, the ideas you have, the challenges you experience, and the practical, everyday steps you need to take, alongside other people doing the same.

four

Come with a manuscript, an idea, or nothing but the itch. You leave with a book underway, habits to finish it, a completed product, places to put it, a map to publishing, and more.

About Rainier

I’ve walked the whole road.

  1. As You Are Self-published · Amazon Best-Seller
  2. A novel, and a book of poetry Written, finished, and kept for myself
  3. A book on the creative process St. Martin’s Essentials · Spring 2028

I’ve self-published a best-seller. I’ve written a novel and a book of poetry and decided they were only for me. And I’m publishing a book on the creative process with a major publisher. I’ve done the whole book-writing journey.

I’ve also helped other writers down every one of those roads. Authors who self-published. Authors who got agents and made a traditional splash. Authors who finished a book and knew it was only for them and their kids.

The Book Club is built on all of it.

Think of it as a gift

Sixteen weeks you give to the person who has been carrying this book around. Maybe for years. Maybe since you were a kid with a notebook nobody was allowed to read.

This is the season you stop carrying it and start writing it.
